What to Expect...

Throughout the week we will explore God's greatness through five key themes: God's creation, care, love, forgiveness, and faithfulness. One topic is MAGNIFIED each day. You can see how by checking out the Big Truth, Bible Story, and the Main Point below.

Sunday, June 8th: Magnify God

Day 1: Magnify God

  • Big Truth: God created everything there is, and yet He still wants to spend time with me.
  • Today’s Point: God sees me.
  • Bible Story: Jesus and the Children (John 1:1–3,12; Mark 10:13–16)
  • Bonus Verse: “But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in his name.” (John 1:12)

Children learn that the Creator of the universe sees and values each of them personally.

Monday, June 9th: Magnify God's Care

Day 2: Magnify God’s Care

  • Big Truth: God keeps the whole universe going, and yet He still cares about what’s happening to me.
  • Today’s Point: God cares about me.
  • Bible Story: Jesus Calmed the Storm (Mark 4:1,35–41)
  • Bonus Verse: “He will not leave you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8b)

This lesson emphasizes God’s attentive care, even amidst life’s storms.

Tuesday, June 10th: Magnify God's Love

Day 3: Magnify God’s Love

  • Big Truth: God is not OK with sin, and yet He still loves sinners like me.
  • Today’s Point: God loves me.
  • Bible Story: The Woman at the Well (John 4:1–42)
  • Bonus Verse: “But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

Children discover the depth of God’s love, which reaches out to everyone regardless of their past.

Wednesday, June 11th: Magnify God's Forgiveness

Day 4: Magnify God’s Forgiveness

  • Big Truth: Jesus came to save the world, and that includes me.
  • Today’s Point: God forgives me.
  • Bible Story: Jesus and Nicodemus (John 3:1–21; 1 Corinthians 15:6)
  • Bonus Verse: “For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

This day focuses on the gift of salvation and the assurance of God’s forgiveness.

Thursday, June 12th: Magnify God's Faithfulness

Day 5: Magnify God’s Faithfulness

  • Big Truth: God is faithful with the big things in my life, and He will be faithful with the small things too.
  • Today’s Point: God keeps His promises.
  • Bible Story: Jesus Taught about Worry (Matthew 6:25–34)
  • Bonus Verse: “For the LORD is good, and his faithful love endures forever; his faithfulness, through all generations.” (Psalm 100:5)

Children are encouraged to trust in God’s unwavering faithfulness in every aspect of life.
